My first day as an official blogger. Though I do not believe I can live up to the standards set by my friend and co-worker MelB http://acoffeetogo.blogspot.com/, I am going to try.
In my blog I plan to offer unsolicited advice (or my opinion), because that is what I do. I plan to listen to advice. I plan to post funny stories because we all need a lift, often, and humor does that. I plan to offer my opinions about current events. I plan to vent about parenthood, marriage and extended family. I plan to offer random thoughts, recommend products, pass along simple recipes, talk about my favorite TV shows and just share (mostly) all things positive.

- I moved, with my husband and two boys from the Adirondack Mountains of NY in July of 2002 to North Carolina and have not had a single regret. I've been married to the same person since 1984, have two boys, one born in 1990 and the other in 1993...Austin and Spencer. I have two dogs...a chow/lab mix named Harley and a puggle named IzzieB. I have two adult cats. I'm a pretty simple person just trying to enjoy life, do the right thing and work to raise my children to be responsible, successful adults. I'd rather talk on the computer than on the phone and I don't like unexpected guests. I love primitive and country decor. I enjoy antiques and a great flea market. I believe in God, fate and that everything happens for a reason.
